In a separate attack, 13 Palestinians were killed and many others – mostly women and children – were injured when Israeli forces shelled tents housing displaced families in the Al-Istabl area of Al-Mawasi, in southern Khan Yunis.
Israeli shelling also targeted tents of displaced individuals near Al-Baraka Camp in the Al-Majayda neighborhood of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians, including a woman, and injuries to several others.
Meanwhile, six Palestinians were killed and over 100 injured when Israeli forces targeted crowds of civilians waiting for aid near Al-Nabulsi roundabout in western Gaza City.
Additionally, one person was killed and others wounded in an Israeli strike on Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
