The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, most recently the assault on the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah, which resulted in the killing of three Palestinians and the injury of others. The Ministry held Israel, as the occupying power, responsible for these attacks.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah affirmed Jordan’s absolute rejection of these assaults and the escalating settler terrorism against the Palestinian people, especially amid the ongoing and dangerous Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.
He emphasized that the attacks committed by settlers in the occupied West Bank are a direct result of Israeli government policies that fuel violence, stressing that the absence of accountability encourages settlers to commit more crimes against Palestinians.
Qudah also underscored the urgent need to immediately end the aggression on Gaza, reach a permanent ceasefire agreement, and ensure the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip—currently facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe—through relevant United Nations agencies. (Petra)
